Minimum Requirement for CCIE Certification

People often ask me what is the minimum requirement/prerequisite to appear for CCIE Certification.
So my friend, please be assured that there is no formal requirement/prequisite for appearing CCIE Exam Certification, no Certification is required prior to give exam of CCIE.
But there are two steps of CCIE Certification, CCIE Written and CCIE Lab.
You must first pass a Written qualification exam and then the corresponding hands-on lab exam.

You are expected to have an in-depth understanding of the topics in the exam blueprints and strongly encouraged to have three to five years of job experience before attempting certification. But again these are not the hard and fast prerequisites.

Even a Cow is Connected to Internet, Internet of Things

Currently, IoT is made up of a loose collection of disparate, purpose-built networks. Today’s cars, for example, have multiple networks to control engine function, safety features, communications systems, and so on. Commercial and residential buildings also have various control systems for heating, venting, and air conditioning (HVAC); telephone service; security; and lighting. As IoT evolves, these networks, and many others, will be connected with added security, analytics, and management capabilities. This will allow IoT to become even more powerful in what it can help people achieve.

Difference between Asynchronous and Synchronous Transmission

Asynchronous transmission uses start and stop bits to signify the beginning bit ASCII character would actually be transmitted using 10 bits e.g.: A "0100 0001" would become "1 0100 0001 0". The extra one (or zero depending on parity bit) at the start and end of the transmission tells the receiver first that a character is coming and secondly that the character has ended. This method of transmission is used when data is sent intermittently as opposed to in a solid stream. In the previous example the start and stop bits are in bold. The start and stop bits must be of opposite polarity. This allows the receiver to recognize when the second packet of information is being sent.

Time to Secure your USB Drive to protect your Data

USB drives are the most popular way to move data from one PC to another. They are small in size but can carry gigabytes of data. They are easy to use, convenient, affordable, but at the same time they pose a security risk and can be easily lost, stolen or misplaced. A secure USB drive i.e., a password protected USB drive is a must these days as the data that it contains may cost you millions of dollars if stolen or lost.

USB Secure can password protect USB and other flash drives. Protection is PC independent, doesn't require installation and doesn't require administrator rights at the other end.
USB Secure works with all types of portable media like;
USB Flash drives,
Thumb drives,
Memory sticks,
External drives and
Memory Cards.

How CSMA/CD Process Works, Career Sense Multiple Access/Collision Detection

The original Ethernet specifications expected collisions to occur on the LAN. The media was shared, creating a literal electrical bus. Any electrical signal induced onto the wire could collide with a signal induced by another device. When two or more Ethernet frames overlap on the transmission medium at the same instant in time, a collision occurs; the collision results in bit errors and lost frames. The original Ethernet specifications defined the Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Detection (CSMA/CD) algorithm to deal with the inevitable collisions. CSMA/CD minimizes the number of collisions, but when they occur, CSMA/CD defines how the sending stations can recognize the collisions and retransmit the frame.
Let's break out this CSMA/CD in CS, MA and CD and then try to understand how Career Sense, Multi-Access, and Collision Detection works in the Ethernet Technology.

How Ethernet Device Knows that a Collision is Occurred?

The answer to the Question is very simple, that is, when two or three of the signal are collided on the Ethernet segment/media then the amplitude of the signal is increased above the normal level of the signal. The detection of a collision is made possible because all devices can detect an increase in the amplitude of the signal above the normal level.

How Autonegotiation (AN) Works with Fast Link Pulse (FLP)

The purpose of AN is to automatically configure two devices that share a link segment to take maximum advantages of their capabilities. This allows devices at both ends of the link segment to advertise their capabilities, acknowledge receipt and understanding of the common mode of operation that both devices share, and reject the use of modes that are not supported by both devices.

AN is performed using a modified link-integrity pulse (called FLP, or Fast Link Pulse) such that no packet or upper protocol overhead is added. Each device capable of AN, issues FLP bursts at power up, on command from the MAC, or due to user interaction.
