Open Docx/xlsx/pptx files with older Versions of MS Office 2000 or 2003

Are you Still using MS Office 2003 or even 2000? and frequently happen to recieve and open office files that were generated with new Version of MS office 2007 or 2010! The files generated with newer version of MS office have extension x in the end i.e. .docx, and xlsx. These files are not compatible with the older versions of office programs and are not opened.

To open these files there is a little compatibility program provided by Microsoft, by installing that compatibility program you can open these files with newer extension in the older versions of the MS office.

No Serial Port (DB-9) in Computer/Laptop for Console Connection to Cisco Routers/Switches

Many of today's new computers and Laptops have no serial or parrallel ports. Cisco Devices are connected to PCs with console Cable and the port which is connected to the PC is also a Serial DB-9 Type.

If your PC has no DB-9 port then you will have to purchase an adapter that is USB to Serial Adapter.

Also make sure you get driver CD for the adapter's Driver other wise it will also not work.

Actually these error messages are caused due to default configurations in Cisco IOS Software, which attempts to access the service configuration files from a network Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) server, and if the router is unable to acces the TFTP Server then it start displaying these messages.

One of the case may be, when trunking between the port of a switch on one side and port of Switch-type interface on the router on other side. As you know that Dynamic Trunking Protocol, DTP, is not run by the Router so the Trunking can not be negotiated at this situation. To mitigate the error at this situation do the following steps;
